This term the children in top class are enjoying learning about the country, peoples and culture of India.

In art the children have made brightly coloured collages of the Taj Mahal (one of the most famous buildings in the world, but not the easiest to draw!).

They have also been making Diwali lamps out of clay. These are used by Hindus and Sikhs to celebrate the festival of Diwali. In English they are working in small groups to write and illustrate the story of Rama & Sita, a traditional tale many thousands of years old, which is told at Diwali. Their finished work will be made into books.
