What's happening in Nursery and Reception.




PE

Please could all the Nursery and Reception have their indoor PE kit  in school every day.

Outdoor PE for the NURSERY AND RECEPTION will take place on Tuesdays.

Please send Pumps or Trainers to school on Tuesdays for the Nursery children and outdoor PE kit for the Reception.

Personal and Social Develpoment

We have introduced Snack Time into our Continuous Provision.
These are the basic resources and experiences that are constantly available to the children.
The children choose when to have their snack and with whom. In the short time that we have been doing this and observing the children it is proving to be a useful opportunity for the children to develop social skills, language. maths; the list is endless!

Knowledge and Understanding of the World.

 

During the weekly cooking sessions the children learn how to use various tools safely.
