Spring Term plans for Reception

PE

Please could all the Nursery and Reception have their indoor PE kit  in school every day.

Outdoor PE for the Reception only will take place on Tuesdays. Outdoor kit must include a tracksuit, trainers and waterproofs if the weather looks as if it will be wet.

Activities that take place in Nursery and Reception.

 

Knowledge and Understanding of the World.

During the weekly cooking sessions the children learn how to use various tools safely.

Mathematical Development

The children have free access to the computers at all times.

Here they are cosolidating their number skills by playing Snakes and Ladders and learning about direction by taking programming a car to go around a race track without crashing!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Language Development

Creative Development.

In Science the children have been finding out which liquids mix with water and which do not. Here they are using marbling inks to create patterned paper. This will be used in the Art lessons.
