                                           NEWSLETTER - MARCH 2010

MARIE CURIE DAFFODILS
Daffodils will go on sale from Wednesday 24th February 2010. The appeal requires a £1.00 donation for a daffodil. The selling of daffodils will coincide with our Saint David's Festival on Monday 1st March 2010. Thank you for supporting their appeal.

GWŶL DEWI SANT
Throughout this week, beginning Monday 22nd February, we are holding our Dydd Gwyl Dewi - Saint David's Festival Celebrations. The children will participate in a variety of activities and competitions based around Wales, its people and language.

On Monday 1st March, children are invited to dress up in Welsh costumes and wear the Welsh emblem of a daffodil or leek for our Celebratory Service.

For your information, I enclose rough sketches of the respective costumes suitable for boys and girls.

You will appreciate that the whole school needs to be in the hall for our celebrations. This puts pressure on available space for parents and guests.

To this end, we will initially distribute tickets of 1 per family.

Any surplus tickets will be available on a first come first served basis - available from the school office towards the end of this week.

St. David's Day - 1st March 2010.
REMINDER - NURSERY CHILDREN:-

All Nursery children to attend afternoon session from 12.45 p.m. to 3.15 p.m., in order that they can take part in the St. David's Day Concert.
